People don't die of bronchial asthma any longer; at least not as much as they used to back in the old days when they had no control over the sickness.

Asthma Attack Chest Pain

Chest pain can be waring sing before an asthma attack, but they are usual felt during asthma attacks. Although it is benign and self limiting it may cause diagnostic confusion and the patient can start to panic.
